I was wondering how I ran a 13.0 at 112 mph and I have seen other people run like 12.5 at almost the same mph if somebody could please explain

They had better 60' times. Maybe had an automatic. Density altitude plays a role. Better 1/8th mile MPh. Likely ran 87/88 to your 85. Tons of variables.

Your info says you drive an EcoBoost?

Practice, practice, practice. Be patient and try different setups at the track and see what works.

It's was probably hot as balls when you ran. A real hot day will sap a cars power. I took my car last week and the lower the temperature got during the night the better the car ran. Your sixty isn't bad. There is really nothing wrong with that slip other than the E/T! Sticky tires will benefit any car at the drag strip.

your 60ft is killing your time. Here's the DA of the track you were at. Also the corrected times. Not sure how accurate it is.

MPH = HP, ET=efficiency. If you set your car up just for the 1/4 mile your ET will drop down to your MPH. Extra MPH means you're leaving ET on the table. I'm putting in a 4,000 Circle "D" converter and 3.73s to help get my ET closer to my MPH. To be totally efficient in the 1/4 mile means to make a sacrifice for highway driving. It's always good to have MPH because that equals power, when you have power you can figure out how to go FAST!

every tenth in the 60ft. is 2tenths in the quaerter mile! so a 1.8 60ft would be a 12.6 quaerter mile.
