Question about Circle D Converters.

My 60 ft's are horrible, 1.9 with DR's. Outside of that my car is doing very well considering - personal best is 11.7@121mph. I'm thinking about getting a circle d converter but I'm concerned about my half shafts.

Whats the safe limit to push them to? Also, what are the average gains of this mod? Would like to see an 11.3/11.4 and 122+mph.

EDIT: Also which torque converter would be good for my setup (full bolt on)?

I put a 5C in my 2017 and i went from 12.9 to 12.3 with just changing the stall. i have seen alot of cars with high power on stock half shafts.....but spending the $$ isnt a bad idea for insurance knowing they wont break.

Thanks for the info, by any chance do you know what 60ft time you had on the 12.3 run?

Hello, guys

I installed 3600-3800 circle D for my Mach 1
Kindly let know:
1. 3800rpm is maximal or I can do 4000 safely?
2. Do you have experience with 2nd gear start with circle D? I have 900whp and I am afraid that it would be bad 60ft from 2nd gear or not?

To the OP. The converter is well worth it. I’m running 10.9x with bolt ons and a converter. Stock axles with 80-100 passes so far. On drag radials.

just make sure the car doesn’t wheel hop and they will last awhile.
