So, on prior 5.0's, 4.6 (DOHC) and SVO's - for years now I've seen many folks go with an off-road pipe (H, X or Y) numerous times without issues....

I've seen on here though that for some reason if an EB owner decided to go catless there's "smoke" issues. Now maybe I missed it in the zillions of threads, but was this issue ONLY related to the 2015's with PCV issues?

I guess coming from the older batches of Mustangs, I'm not quite seeing how removing the cat on a newer Gen Mustang causes smoke issues?

Clarification please.

:)

Older mustang 4.6 and 5.0 are natural aspirated engine which has a simple pvc system. The ecoboost is turbocharged hence there is more pressure in the crankcaes and Ford didnt do there best work design the pvc system. The CAT help to element the smoke (which in the long run will clog up the CAT), so without the CAT is flows straight through and hence the smoke.
