I was talking to the transport dispatcher in omaha today checking on one of our gt's thats in bound and he told me that 6 of the units sitting on a train in kansas city were put on a quality hold this weekend. He had no info other than the effected vins.

Since there not in our inventory i doubt it. Our yellow gt manual wasnt included if that helps ya.

Actually, I don't think mine would be on it because mine says convoy instead of rail.

Well, just talked to my dealer and they said it's on hold for 2 weeks for some unknown reason. So help me, if I waited for it to get here and it's damaged and has to be fixed or scrapped/rebuilt, I'm done. I could have walked into a dealership and bought one off the lot by now.

Like I said, mine said convoy instead of rail, so I don't think mine is on that train, but I've already seen stories of cars being sent to the wrong dealers, so it could be.

If I give you my VIN, could you check it against your list?

I work for RR if you have rail car #s. I can pretty much tell you when cars will be delivered for vendor to trainload to trucks for final trip to dealership.

Ive gotten to know the dispatcher at the omaha ramp and he locates em for me. Our problem is it takes bnsf forever to get them em in there yard.

going rail is just as bad as luggage going onto a plane.. i hate those car carriers.... does not take much to mess them up especially if they are loaded wrong or not tied down correctly... those carriers sway like a MF

Most of our damage comes after its off the railcars. We got a superduty today that the driver hit a tree limb with shattering the windshield.

Im not aware of damage in a rail car for a long long time....
