Sorry, but this is lame. The $100 of R&D money spent on a pulsing LED-lit start button could've gone to something more useful. Perhaps an optional, laser cut visor warning label cover.

I think your statement nails it. This little trick probably cost Ford less than an average lunch for two executives.

Though that laser cut visor warning label would be a pretty cool idea. Perhaps American Muscle could offer that.

Would be nice if the steering wheel had sensors to display your heart rate at what speed, throttle%, rpm. Gimmick but to see how your heart rate is around a track would be a neat curiosity.

Now if they can get the steering wheel to some how get your blood pressure and temperature, then text it to your Doc to see if ur OK to go!

They have suits that do that I believe. Watch the Subaru run on Isle of Man from last year. It's a cool hud they have that display all of those readings from the driver.
