Projection Pony light

I'm curious: for the GT Premium with the 50th anniversary look package added - does it take away the projection pony light like it does the lighted "Mustang" floor rail?

The pony projector lights are still there; the only thing the 50th Anniversary Package deletes is the lighted door sill.

I have the 50th anniv. package/GT premium and I have the pony projection lights. I don't think either of the packages overrides this option. I think the 50 years package overrides the illuminated door sills but that's it.

I didn't want to start a new thread about this so I'll ask here. Is the pony projection light supposed to come on under both the driver and passenger mirrors when you unlock the car? The one under the driver side only lights up for me.

Yes. You may have a light out on the passenger side.

I think only when it's dark enough to where the auto lights would turn on and when the interior gauge lights turn on

Thanks Crim. When I was at the dealer during the day and the sales guy unlocked the doors, I don't remember seeing the pony on the ground. It was a GT 50th.

I'm assuming they're like the 2014s, in which case they come on every time you turn the car on. You just typically can't see them during the day because of sunlight, etc. If you hold your hand right under the mirror any time of day you should be able to see the pony light.

Are they replaceable bulbs? I haven't seen them but would expect it to be a whole assembly. We have an EB or I'd check.

No problem . I have a GT 50th and they only light up when I open the doors and it's dark enough for all that other stuff to come on. It's an awesome touch
