Drew: That is exactly the opposite of what Earl does.
I was actually going to volunteer to write the code myself, but as Earl correctly pointed out, the site doesn't serve up historical information making this not very fruitful.

I am curious as to how this 2020 model year goes. I know I seen on a post that only cars for the 2020 year that have a vin will be produced? True? If so excluding any options, color or CFTP, what’s the final count going to be? Has Ford set a date to resume production? Could we see another outtake of the 69/70 Shelby vin year switch for even the vins that are issued? Or just cancel vin’s altogether?Yes I know that was done at Shelby America not at Ford, but could we see this? Man this virus has screwed some SH”T up!
The only thing that I have read is that the MI governor has extended the lock down until May 15th, she may just be buying time to convince her the other members of her party and the other side to extend it even further. Even if MI goes with the May 15th date, Ford still has to deal with the UAW and they don't seem to be to eager to send their members back to work until they are satisfied that it will be safe.

There are 3142 VINs - 42 that have been cancelled (3100), issued at this time. If they stop there, they should be able to produce all the VINs issued at this time. Unless this virus situation get out of hand and then all bets are off.

Latest is hoping for a Tuesday morning delivery.
That's stupendous news, JW and I'm glad they chose the right carrier. <smile> Hopefully, FedBox will make it happen and in a few short days after that, you may be on your way home! I sure hope so...

Earl: Please refresh my feeble memory with how many have been produced to date? Was it around 1800?
As close as I can figure, there have been 1617 Total Produced including the 172 that are still at the plant.

I’ve been able to get major parts through Ford, that engine had to come directly from Ford? So I was told? I can’t believe they can’t get those 172 cars released? Unless they’re stuck somewhere in the middle of production and still being produced?

I doubt that any of your parts came from Flat Rock. I would think that Ford had a separate warehouse for the warranty parts run by Ford Parts. But I could be wrong.

2020 GT500's at plant. (Sent to Plant are only the VINs):
34 - Sent to Plant
61 - Body Shop
20 - Trim Line
41 - Produced
32 - Sent to Body Company (Penske)
17 - Released for Shipment
1 - Received for Shipment
3 – Received In Production
209 – Total

It’s a shame that they couldn’t have finished everything that was at least started. I thought I had a time getting mine released, I’d hate to be the 1 guy with a car received for shipping and, crap plant closed! That’s a tough one. Hopefully he has know idea it’s just sitting and waiting.

I think the released and the received cars that are still sitting there are the responsibly of the shipping companies, Ford did release the cars for shipment and the received car was received by the shipper for shipment and they never shipped it. If I remember correctly, when the plant was told to stand down, they sent everyone home except a small group of volunteers that stayed behind to get as many of the produced cars released as possible, and they did a great job. I think that lasted for about 2 weeks and then the MI governor decided their fate.

As always, many thanks for that, Earl..I thought it was around that range.

But geeze...A HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-TWO at the PLANT?! Dear God, I had no idea there were that many in production when the lights went out..that's over ten percent of the total!

You have to remember that there are only 81 actually on the assembly line.

One of them is my car. I hope there are not quality issues by such a long lag in the process.

So, 94 are sitting outside then, Earl?
32 are at Penske, don't know where they are sitting, inside or outside Penske, hopefully inside.
3 have been received-In Production, this usually means they had been released for shipment and then pulled back into production for an inspection, so they may be inside or outside.
That leaves 59 that are probably sitting outside.
