After browsing through the install guide this past weekend I noticed that the installation manual says that the serpentine belt is likely to stretch a bit and may need to be retightened. I am running a Stage 2 for what it''s worth and I was wondering if some folks would add pics and/or comments showing or describing the positioning of the tensioner markings.

I had a shop install mine back in late March while I was traveling for work. Seems to be tighter than recomended. Here is how mine is currently positioned:

Thanks!

That's were I have been running mine if not a little bit tighter. Where the single line top meets the middle line bottom. and I have had zero belt issues the last 8k. In the beginning I had it on the first line/ first line and kept throwing belts.

Edit,
Maybe because I shift @ 8-8200 and it needs a little more tension.

Mine is on the first notch and always has been, zero problems, unlike the ZR1 I was pulling on the other day, haha!

Install guide seems to say set it at the first mark. But a friends belt was way tighter than mine so I tightened to about where you are. I go by feel of the belt use the lines as a guide, then adjust by feel. It needs to be tight, but not crazy tight.

Also they is not a belt size for every pulley, some belts can fit for 2 pulley sizes as long as the pulley is only one step up or down from what u have,so the first mark rule will not always be the right tension.

So based on your photo, you are only using about 40% of the tension.
So thats usually really good spot :)
(You could probably back if off a little bit if you wanted to take some stress off the crank)

But for those guys that make crazy insane power, there is about 60% more force left in that tensioner based on your image.
Though I don't recommend that. :)
