Youtube Palm Beach Dyno F1 procharged.

It can be done with a smaller HU than the F1 there are a few 900whp P1X cars on e85 too.

Oddly to me dont see many D1X cars.

I think part of the issue is that to pulley down a D1X you have to invest some serious $$ in a motor. I think the D1X is probably a monster with a 3.85" pulley. Im running a 4.5" and seeing 15psi at 7500.....thats pushing it on a basically stock motor IMO.

Right but on the same token I feel like Ive seen more F1 Procharger setups than D1X setups.

That's because the D is an in between size. 97% of guys won't ever max a P, and if you build forged sleeved engine you want more than the D can offer so just jump to F

To not get side tracked, my answer to OP a go F1A.

But I still wanna see a D1sc or D1x with a 4.0 or 4.13 pulley on a stage 2. We know what the P1X can do now. I wanna see whatcha the D series got.

P1X still has some headroom over that. His boost and my boost very similar setups makes the same boost with the blower spinning about 10,000 less rpm. And after seeing his logs even just a few thousand overspin you could see the efficiency really start to fade. Boost leveled off, and temps rose as it started to really spin.

None the less damn impressive on the babiest of baby blowers.

Very good points. My intention was to use all the blower has to offer. As we discussed, most don't realize that I'm only outside the units efficiency range for an extremely short period of time during a pass. Use all you got!

For sure. Won't see overspin but for a total of 1 second throughout the run, most of that time before the 3-4 shift. Gonna haul a dumptruck full of balls!
