Hey Everyone, I'm curious on the procedure involved to properly measure and adjust bumpsteer on our S550's with adjustable camber plates.
I feel confident in most of what's entailed. However, the one element I'm not clear on yet is how to go about measuring bump steer without upsetting camber settings. Since the strut needs to be installed without the spring in order to run the suspension through its travel, I am wondering how to keep the camber settings correct when needing to uninstall the strut, remove the spring, then install the strut again? (and vise-versa once the adjustments are set)?
I'm planning to install Steeda adjustable camber plates along with the Steeda bumpsteer and roll center kit. This will be my first time installing these parts so it may become more clear to me how they hold their settings after I've worked with the camber plates a bit more. but I wanted to see if anyone has some input before I take my first crack at it.
Thanks!
