Yeah... .no thanks. I don't want to rely on potentially cracked rubber at high speeds. Neither side of this is safe IMO. Get the proper tires for the proper conditions and have good grip and safety year round.
It's tough to do in Texas.

For example, it was dry and in the mid-70s for most of the day today. Tomorrow through Wednesday there's a strong chance for snow.

I try to drive my truck in those cases.

Ford and Michelin both warn us, in print, not to drive these summer only tires in cold temperatures. There is a reason for these warning. I think they know a lot more than any of us do concerning the safety characteristics of these tires. I am not risking my car, my personal safety, or other's safety by directly ignoring the warnings. If anyone gets in a fix or hurt by disregarding the manufacturers warnings then that is on them. I just hope no other driver is injured as a result of the another persons cavalier actions.

Had a nice day high temp was 62 and sunny. A couple of guys in my car club drove up with me in their GT350 to pick mine up and we drove back as a group. Had a great dive back all smiles.
