I'm into deadly sins as much as the next guy, but have to admit I like lust, gluttony and sloth months better.

When did everything get a month? For that matter when did everything get a day? I heard the other day it was National Burger day. When the hell did all this start? Seems ridiculous
National cheese lovers day? I'll allow it, I love me some cheeseJanuary 20 is the only extra special day you should mark on your calendar

Just noting that pride is one of the seven deadly sins. What does gay have to do with it?Are you saying that you are gay?

Seven deadly sins: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.
Not a theologian, but assumed the church probably declared a month for Pride and each deadly sin so there could be 5 months with no deadly sin. Similar concept as some credit cards that only give rewards for certain things in certain months.
Pre covid we would go with family to watch Manchester pride as it’s normally a nice carnival style day (just don’t hang around in the village at night lol).

Ever read the bible? Nothing happening is new.How does someone explain that, I don't know> I sincerely feel sorry for today's parents and am concerned about the future of the children.
Generally speaking, it's awful what is happening. And fail to understand how intelligent people are accepting this crap.
I know of an LGBT person who recently committed suicide. He was always such a pleasant and gracious person, always smiling and always respected in the community. His death really shocked me, we were both born on the same day, although he was one year younger at 34. To think he was bottling that all up, putting on the brave face and suffering in silence is just so sad and so tragic.- LGBTQ youth are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than their peers (Johns et al., 2019; Johns et al., 2020).
- The Trevor Project estimates that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ youth (13-24) seriously consider suicide each year in the U.S. — and at least one attempts suicide every 45 seconds.
- The Trevor Project’s 2022 National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health found that 45% of LGBTQ youth seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year, including more than half of transgender and nonbinary youth.

Showing acceptance is important. Happy pride, everyone.

No one chooses to be LBGT. No one basically chooses to be four times more likely to attempt suicide. No one chooses to spend their whole lives explaining themselves for being the way they are. That person above left behind brothers, sisters, parents and friends who feel terrible for not being able to help him. No one choses that either.
I personally don't agree with the need to have a whole month for "pride". We should not need a month to highlight how we should treat other people. What I do agree with is respectively leaving others to live their lives peacefully.
