Previous scan was incomplete?

I just picked my car up on Tuesday and now it seems to be trying to perform a Sync 3 update. When I get in range of my home WiFi I'll sometimes get a message an update is available.


If I go in to check on the update it appears to be trying to download and will then fail and say "The previous scan was incomplete" .

It tells me the last check was on 4/9/2018, which was 10 days ago and before I had the car.

I tried using my mobile hot spot instead but it didn't seem to make a difference in the download.

I've had some experience with Mercedes, Audi and BMW systems and I was expecting Sync 3 to be a bit more ahead of things, lol.

go into setting and see what version you currently have, 3.0 I believe is the latest officially released version, prior was 2.3.

It is a new 2018 I took delivery of this week so I think it is 3.0 from the factory.

Perhaps it is trying to download something in error?

I'll see a black bar up top telling me a download is in progress. If I go and check for updates I can see a .gz file that show up for a few seconds before the error shows.

I get that error too, its beter to do usb install instead of wifi route
