Who knows a way to not have the toggle for the drive modes reset every time one turns off the ignition?

And.

In addition to its intended purpose, would the rain/snow toggle offer any benefit in terms of mpg?

you have to play with the drive modes every timed you start the car, no fix for it, and most likely not on #2

I was hoping that a tuner could make it so this toggles wouldn't reset. With all the mods out for these cars, I thought that this would have had a fix by now. bummer.

Why would you want to drive in rain/snow mode all the time?

The rain/snow mode reduces throttle response and increases the amount that traction control limits power, it won't give you any better mileage.

i use the rain/snow in heavy traffic because it just keeps me from gassing it and making it downshift all the time. keeping the rpms that low has to result in better mpg even if its just because it nannies my driving
