I'm trying to make heads or tails on some part numbers and thought this would be a good place to try getting some help. A little backstory:

I bought a Used 2015 GT Premium last year that had the Premier trim package installed and really liked it. The 15 unfortunately had a huge tree branch fall on it and it was totalled. Fast forward 3 months or so, I picked up a 2016 GT Premium that doesn't have the premier package. I didn't think it would bother me much but quite honestly... I'm finding myself missing that small detail quite a bit. I'd like to replace the interior door trim and the center console lid, (I'm not going to mess with the dash) to get the soft touch surfaces back. I've checked out the https://parts.ford.com/ website and found several different options. Trouble is, I can't figure out which one is which.

Does anyone know (or know how to find out) what that part number might be?

Thanks in advance for any help I can get here.

Oh yeah, I'm totally fine with used panels. As long as they are in good shape and have the soft touch top. I was already looking at https://www.car-part.com/ to see what I could find. New door trim's are something like $8-900.

I'll check out the parts farm for sure. The door panel and the console look to be the standard trim parts, not premier. Thats the catch and what I'm having a hard time trying to figure out. I was hoping to get a part number so I could try finding one.

Check eBay for used Mustang parts. There is usually a ton of used S550 and new take offs on ebay for very good prices.

My 2018 is a Premium and the door panels are the premium version, but they are different from my 2016 which also was a Premium. The 2018 door panels are totally soft material from top to bottom, where the same door panel on my 2016 was a hard shell at the top. The inserts with the premium stitching are the same on both cars.

So if you are looking for the “premium” panel, be sure you get the right ones if you are seeking the totally soft premium panels.

Funny you should mention that cobra jet. I reached out to the parts farm br_an mentioned and they said it was soft. I replied asking they confirm the top of the panel where the trim panel meets the glass was soft and not just the insert. I included a photo with the area that should be soft touch highlighted to make sure.

I haven't heard back yet but if it is the correct set I will be buying it as soon as it is confirmed. Now all I need to find is a lid for the center console and I'll be good to go.

As you already know the 15’/17’ cars the deluxe trim was a $399 option called Premier Trim With Color Accent Group. If the seller has the takeoff car VIN they can check the sticker to see if the car had the option.
