PPF on the hood

So setting up an appointment next week to PPF the hood, the plan is to cut around the stripe. Saw this online today. Thoughts on covering the stripe and making it glossy? I'm undecided but leaning towards leaving it matt.

I didn’t get coverage on my hood stripe and I think it looks good that way. More original you could say!

idk. I like shiny shit, so id prob gloss the vinyls myself with ppf. all match

because they use steam to remove the Ppf, but I dont know if the steam would heat up the vinyl enough to rip it up with it as well. would need to be done with some finess I imagine to not pull both up

I had the front bumper, rocker panels, the area behind the rear wheel and the black truck panel done and it was $900. Now I'm looking to get the hood done. To buff off the ceramic coat, install the PPF on the entire hood and cut around the matt stripe then redcoat with ceramic it's $650. Yes the car needs to be clean and free of wax and coatings for the PPF to be applied. This is usually included.

that's crazy cheap. The hood alone (ignore having to work around penis decal) was an easy $800 and didn't include any ceramic.

If I wanted it done in 1 piece it was $850 but I said I was ok with 2 pieces. it means a 1/2 inch seem from the tip of the penis to the bumper that you would have to be standing right on top of to notice. the other seem would be at the start of the stripe (penis) to the windshield, less then 1/2 an inch.
