Pretty close to ours. Build date 5/10/2018, delivered to dealer 5/21/2018, took delivery 5/22/2018. 301A, Recaros, and active exhaust. Did you get the free Recaros? We barely got them.
Had to pay for the Recaros. Thought I was going to get them for free, as the document I signed to get the car ordered showed them at no charge. When I got the car, there was a $1,595 charge on the window sticker. I didn't push the dealer on it, though. I felt fortunate to be getting the car with no ADM. The dealership was only allocated two for 2018 and I was told that they were going to put ADM on the second car.

FWIW- I think the only reason I got the car was that I talked to the salesman in the first part of November 2017, right after Ford announced the PPL2. I told him that I wanted a Mustang GT PPL2. The salespeople in the dealership had no idea what I was talking about when mentioning the car that November, but promised me one anyway. Then the dealership found out later that they were only getting two cars. They told me that I would have to pay sticker price for it when I ordered it.

I guess the Mustang was supposed to arrive at the dealership the previous week, but evidently they had some vehicles come loose in the railcar during transport and the railcar had to go back to the shipping facility so all the vehicles could be checked for damage. I have looked mine over top to bottom on a 4 post lift (and from the driver's seat). Never have found any damage...

Just found this thread while looking for 2018 PPL2 production numbers...
Special ordered January 30, 2018. Build date May 1, 2018. Arrived at dealership May 21, drove it home 2 days later.

Mine was built on May 2nd, 2018 (WE), so our VIN's must be close. 1545 here.

Yea, our sticker showed the $1,595 charge. We had already agreed to the price at time of order. That's when I discovered exactly how Ford's guaranteed pricing works. Basically, it's price less rebates at time of order or price less rebates at time of delivery. Typically rebates go up as you progress through the model year while prices may increase $100 or so a couple times.

My dealer said they usually just give the customer the better rebate and eat any nominal price increase. However, $1,595 isn't the typical price increase. Rebates had went up $1,500 since our order, so I was thinking it would probably be a wash.

That's when the dealer surprised me. Like you, I had the original order sheet showing the cloth Recaros were included with PP2 and 301A at no charge. The dealer showed me where they were charged by Ford for the seats (it was like $1,505 invoice cost). They honored our original agreed upon price and went back to Ford on the issue. I never did find out what ultimately happened, but the last time I talked to my salesman, they were still fighting it.

Needless to say, this dealer has earned my Ford business for as long as I'm around. I did give my salesman a $200 tip for taking care of me ($100 from our auto show test drive money plus another $100). He actually declined to take it but I insisted.

Last four of our VIN is 2851.
I've heard that the VIN's aren't tied to build sequence, but something to do with when the order gets processed.
VINs and auto production are something I'm clueless about, though.

That's cool.
Having a good relationship with a salesman or dealership is worth a lot in my opinion, like having a good mechanic, doctor, or contractor..
I've purchased 4 or 5 Super Duty trucks over the years from my dealer in Eugene and it was always a fair price, no BS transaction. I just call them and tell them what I want, they fling me a fair price and we get it going.
So when we decided to get the Mustang, I called and stopped by in person and just told them what I wanted. I think the salesman originally thought that the PPL2 was just going to be "another" Mustang option and not limited production. In our first discussion he said they would discount the sticker price like they had done for me when buying trucks, etc.
Once they found out they were allocated he told me I would be getting their first one, but he couldn't sell it below sticker. I was just glad to be getting the car. When we were signing papers on it, Ford was offering $2,750 incentive on Mustangs and they gave us that. I'm happy with the deal, and absolutely love the car.

Bwahahahaha . . .my dealer sure claimed there was no such thing (what a chingadero)! I ended up with leather Recaros and LOVE them. Agree, not cheap.
I was thinking that the press release for the Level 2's mentioned that they came with Recaros, but that didn't last long!
I'm with you, they are worth the money.

Wait...what? What is this about free Recaros? Mine def. were not!
The PP2 package came out toward the end of the MY18 run. For a few months, cloth Recaros were no charge on 301A. They were always a $1,595 option on 400/1A (leather). I honestly think it was an error on Ford's part. Just before the end of the MY18 run, they started charging for the cloth Recaros also. I got my '18 PP2 301A with Active Exhaust and Recaros for $38,750 (plus $199 doc fee). That doesn't include TTL. The sticker price, including the $1,595 listed for the Recaros, was $47,080. Needless to say, we were pretty happy with that.

Here you go. It was definitely a thing for awhile. The first is my window sticker showing the $1,595 charge. The second is a window sticker showing no charge.

Nice looking ride. I just found this too. I'm curious where my car falls into the production line in 2019. I guess I need to figure that out. Just found this thread last week. The PP2 thread is a little buried but I get it. Just a another trim. Okay I will go post my car. I've never seen another one either on the road. That was one of the reasons I went with PP2. Beautiful background I'm jealous. Later.
