There is obviously something strange going on with that website. I agree with JD_GTPP2, who ever is seeing $34,000 or $28,000 needs to print out the price they see on the website and see if they can get the dealer to honor it.

I said it before an I'll say it again, "Holy Pro Stock, Batman!".

Looks bad-ass.
Let us know if you notice any change in handling characteristics from the square setup. Especially if it tends a bit more towards understeer in steady-state or throttle-on cornering.

Did the 325's raise the back end noticeably?
Not from what I can tell. it actually should have lowered it a smidge if you do the math on it.

It definitely isn't as sure footed around highway ramps like the SC2s were. But I doubt much of that is from the size and more from the tire compound itself. It still handles great but you do notice it. Havent really had a chance to test them out other than that.

I bet you're still feeling rear lateral stiffness that's lower relative to the front than it was with the 'square' tire size setup.

Not from what I can tell. it actually should have lowered it a smidge if you do the math on it.
Assuming the same aspect ratio (which you did keep), and the same rim diameter and width (which you have), an increase in section width will always result in an increase in sidewall height. This is because the computation of sidewall height is the section width times the aspect ratio. And an increase in sidewall height creates an increase in radius of the tire, which will increase ride height.
In your case (assume using the "measuring" rim width) , the OEM 305/30-19 will give a sidewall height of 305mm * .30 = 91.5mm. The replacement 325/30-19 gives 325mm * .30 = 97.5mm. That gives an increase in ride height of 6mm, or just under 1/4"
I just looked up the spec for the two tires on TireRack.com. It is attached. You will see that the increase in diameter is 0.4", so the increase in radius is half that, or 0.2": just under 1/4". The actual data will be fractionally different because the listed specs assume using a "measuring width" rim for both, which isn't the case (because measuring rim width for the 325s is 11"), but we're talking hundredths of an inch.

What's the best way to locate a dealer stock 2018 PP2 car? Struggling. Thanks.
You can also go to a local Ford Dealer, tell them what you’re looking for and they can do a local OR regional search using their systems. If they find something you like, the vehicle can shipped in to the Dealer.

Something weird's going on - I see $40,556 MSRP: $42,280 from that link.

Edit: then I used a proxy and it came up with

  • Cavalier Easy Price: $46,681
And no MSRP.
