Congrats to all you new PP2 Owners, I ordered mine last month and been told by the dealer I’m looking at a September delivery. Does that sound correct?

I’m very excited about this car, the only negative I see is the amount of space between the the tire and the fenders. I think the 30 profile is too low for the car and gives it an unappealing look from certain side angles. What’s the consensus on this? Does anyone else agree?

I would really like to hear from some of you Owners on the handling, ride quality and your over satisfaction with the PP2 package.
Thanks

They are Michelin pilot sport 4s. OE size 305/30r19. more concerned on suspension travel and possibility of rub. cup 2 tires more rounded it appears on corners. as are the s04 pole positions from the pics i have seen.
My pole position tires seem to be similar shape and curve as the SC2 tires it came with. I wish I had a little less poke on front but at least these don’t fling rocks like those sc2 tires did.

When there's much of any 'poke' you need to have more tire to fender gap, else there's a greater risk of rubbing. Even bending the sheetmetal is at least possible in extreme combinations of 'poke' and small clearance.

On the way they look, it's exactly what it's supposed to look like assuming that the car is going to be used for the kinds of performance it's built for. Just take it as "insider knowledge" about a car specifically built to carve corners.

BS04 pole positions tires seem to be best choice to maintain similar clearances to SC2 tires.
dont mind poke, but MPS4 have too much poke IMO.

Still doesn’t change the fact that it looks wrong from certain angles (direct side view). Why doesn’t the Shelby look like this? Wider fenders? If the suspension is setup from the factory correctly ther shouldn’t be rubbing, poke or no poke.

I'm so glad I got to the PP2. The car is more than I could have imagined. The ride is tight, but we'll controlled and comfortable. Body roll, dive, and squat are virtually non existent (at least at the speeds I've been able to drive it on the street). The car steers like it can read your mind. I only test drove non magneride PP1s, which more or less, just felt like a basic GT to me, albeit with better brakes and tires. This car feels different, ready to be driven much harder.

I personally like the stance, and tire "poke". To me, it says "I'm purpose built", but without the "tuner" bravado.

My favorite option after the PP2 package is the active valve exhaust. It goes from whisper quiet to rip snorting wild with the flick out a switch. I don't care for make your ears bleed loud, so for me, Ford just made aftermarket exhaust obsolete.

I got the car hoping it would be the ultimate Grand Tourer. It's that, and more.

That’s great to hear and thanks for the feedback. Makes me even more anxious to get mine, though I don’t understand why it’s going to take until September!!
