Today I installed PP2 on my 2016 GT. No problems with the hardware install. When I tried to download the PP2 cal I got an error message about not being able to connect to the server. Wifi signal is strong so I'm wondering if Ford's server is down today.
Anyone else encounter this?
I'm I SoCal so I can probably get hold of a Ford Racing tech before work.
It has the PP1 cal currently, but I'm not going to drive it without the proper cal.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Hope everyone is having a nice Labor Day holiday.

Sounds like it's on their end. I'm sure you reset your router and all that. Did you reload the stock tune before attempting PP2 load? Not related but just curious.

But this is the kinda situation I worry about doing an install on a weekend.

I didn't reload the stock tune. Thought I'd just upload the PP2 cal. Another issue I had, but didn't mention in my original post was that sometimes the procal was not reading my battery voltage. I'm sure I have it plugged into the OBD port correctly. I've resigned myself to riding my motorcycle to work tomorrow if need be. I will call FP early tomorrow morning. I'll post the wind up on this in case someone else has a similar issue. Thanks for your reply.

Yea it cant drop below a certain voltage during upload. I bought a battery tender off Amazon. Others have had similiar experience.

Yes. I'm charging the battery overnight. Was hoping to take it for a ride today, but I'll just have to be patient. Thanks for your comments.

When going from PP1 to PP2, you NEED to return to stock. I'm assuming the error message you were getting was something along the lines of "Error 500: Bin not found"

Thank you. I talked to FP this morning that's what they said, but I keep getting the "server error (500) no bin found for 26798 and GR3A-SEMAP-GAA combination (-1010)." I sent them a screenshot of it. Good thing I had a moto to ride to work. Wife is going out of town with her car. I'll post any solution I get from FP.

Yup, "server error (500) no bin found, xxxxxxx" is because you haven't returned the car to stock.

Well, I did follow the directions to restore the stock tune while on the phone with FP then I still got that error. Might have to go back to reload the PP1 cal again with the PP1 voucher number. I hope FP gets back to me today.

Log in to your account, using the PP1 information. Check in the software ID section, if the middle of the number says anything other than 14C204, it's not on the stock tune. Once you are logged in with your PP1 info, then try returning it to stock.

Do I open the Procal3 program to find this info? Do I need to be connected to the OBD port?
Thanks

Got it done finally. Your comment about how to identify the stock tune was the most important piece of information. Thanks so much. Will be a fun drive to work tomorrow.

Am leaving for work now. I only went around the block last night after programming so this morning will be the first real drive.
