So I installed the PP splitter and belly pan as well as the APR spiitter. I had to do some trimming to make it fit but what I didn't expect was that the PP belly pan was much longer towards the back and has 4 bolt holes that don't match up to the non PP cover. In the pic you can see the stock cover under the PP belly pan and the 4 holes I am speaking to.

Does anyone know what parts, covers or other I need to make this work? If you have a PP mustang can you snap a picture of what yours looks like so I can talk to Autonation or Levitown intelligently about what I need?

I am worried I won't have enough points secured with the APR splitter without these 4 points mounted down so I'll buy what ever I need to make it work.

Thanks for the help!

I'm getting ready to do the PP lip and bellypan myself but I will not be adding another splitter like the APR. Can you just drill some holes in the existing pan and pin the two together at those 4 points? What did you have to trim to make it fit? There aren't many clear write ups from guys who've done this. I'm going to do a detailed install when I do mine next week

cheers

Big Dave, a write up would be greatly appreciated! Was planning on doing this myself in the next few weeks.

K I found what I needed, here are the part numbers and pictures of the install etc...

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?p=428513#post428513

FR3Z-6P013-B - plastic shield (with the access door to change the filter)
FR3Z-5025-A - metal cross member (K-Brace)

As far as the install check out the thread below. It is pretty much rip and replace with the exceptions of the cuts you need to make to the fender liner. There are pics of the cut that needs to be made in the link below.

Some tips...The stock belly pan and lip come off as one piece. with the new PP Splitter you will attach that to the bumper first, then you will attach the belly pan to the splitter and bumper. The new set up uses a lot more bolts vs. plastic push pins so make sure your splitter comes with extras. PRO TIP - buy from Mr. Bodykit, comes with all the parts you need for $85 ish... Otherwise it is plug and play!

Two gotchas:
1. No way to bolt to stock plastic pan in the rear for the 4 bolts, unless you want to drill or your ride came with stock 20's.
2. You need to trim the fender liners (i knew about this) and create a new hole for the brake air guides.

My splitter didn't come with any bolts. Where could i get these?
I would go by a dealership or check with a vendor on here like Levitown to see if they can help you out. You need 2x what the stock lip and belly pan will give you when you remove them. Did you order from mr. Body kit?

You will need about 16 total for the lip and belly pan. The stock will give you about 6 of those. You will need a mixture of the round clips and the straight ones. You can see the difference in the pics. The bolt is the same (7mm)

If you replace the fender/wheel liners with pp liners will you still need to cut?

Unless you have money to burn or got them for free, there's really no need to replace the liners.

The area you need to trim is very small and takes less than a few minutes on each side

I did a small how to write up here:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54829

If you do replace them you will not need to cut anything as far as I know.

Does anyone have the PP bellypan and splitter part numbers. I actually need to replace a fender liner. Someone did a number on my car over the weekend. So I figured this would be a good time to go about replacing that stuff.
