An old photo of mine from September (I have my winter tires/wheels on currently). And, my car has black flaps now, not red. And that rear spoiler is gone, too. But, the matte bronze ESR SR07 18" wheels and summer tires go back on in a month or so.

Just a thought, here is my set up , 255/35/20 front 305/30/20 rears . On sport lines no rub . Wheels are velgen vmb5 20x9+35 front 20x10.5+45 . The roads here are not the greatest , but no issues so far .

Does the big difference between the front and rear tire width make for strange handling?

I have been looking at 255/40 with 275/40 or 295/35 Someone mentioned it would handle weird with such a big difference between the front and rear width.

on the street you can get away with murder - aka wildly inappropriate tire choices be it size, width or compound/brand. HPDE/autocross etc, not so much.

I am looking to go a little bigger than my stock 235s but I do not want to go crazy. A middle-of-the-road fitment. Lots of crapy roads around here.
