Yeah I thought the Pirelli was the only tire available that fit the 19'' PP wheel, unless I'm looking at that wrong.

I know it's not a 2015 but here is my 2011 sitting in it's 1st snow back in 2010.

Had just mounted the Michelin X-Ice tires / MB wheels combo for the pictures.

It's got over 100k miles on it now (same set of tires on their 5th winter / almost 50k miles) and I still LOVE driving it in the white stuff !!

Thanks, Doug, happy to hear that — just put a set of Michelin X-Ice Xi3s on mine, and it's good to hear they're going to last so long!

Since 1998, I've had 4 different sets of Winter tires ... "Q" Speed rated Blizzaks WS-50's, 2 sets of "H" Speed rated Dunlop's (IIRC M2 & M3), and now these Michelin's.

The Blizzaks were the best in snow & ice but scary as hell on dry pavement at interstate speeds if you needed to do any evasive manuver's or stop quickly.

The Dulops were better than most all seasons on dry or wet pavement but not as good on snow/ice as the Blizzaks.

These Michelens may still not be as good as the Blizzaks were on snow/ice, but my 2011 has ABS, Stability Control & Traction Control that my 1998 & 2004 Stangs did NOT have so it is hard to tell.

The way these Michelens have been wearing and the fact that they are still good in snow/ice with half tread left at 50k miles it will be a no-brainer when it comes time to replace them !!

Here's a picture of the salty & dirty beast today. The clear coat on those cheap MB Wheels was already lifting after one winter ... JUNK !!

If all this snow didn't delay my EDD this would have been the Mustang. I should have it Monday.

Ouch! Does Plasti-Dip have anything that would work for the rim edges?

Learned two things. GT warms up much faster than my 2010 V6 and snow melts faster on black cars lol

I'm waiting for when I need to replace the tires and I'll then send them to get stripped and powder coated while the tires are off. If I knew the clear coat was going to fail that quick, I would have had them powder coated when new !!
