My car is CO and I have the Steeda CAI. Anybody know if I can get an air filter that will fit the Steeda box that is orange or anyway I can paint or dye the filter that came with the kit orange?

You want to paint a filter?

Taking color coordination a little too far there I think.

Just curious guys. Figured there was a way to dye the filter or something. People always have interesting ways of doing things like this, thought maybe there was a way. Many people want to coordinate their entire engine bay so why would the filter be overkill? It sits right out in the open with a CAI. I know I am not the only person to wonder about this.

The only colors I have seen filter oil in has been Red, Blue, and Black (K&N has a CAI for the S197 with black filter). I wouldn't mess with changing the filter oil though as you need the correct weighted oil for your filter.
