Was wondering if anyone can advise of a reliable portable battery recharger. Do any of the micro lithium battery recharges work very well?
Thanks for your input.

I ended up with one after a gift buying snafu for my dad. Haven't tried it out yet though. I have one of those bigger ones with wheels in my garage that will start a tank. Will likely leave this micro lithium one at the gf's apartment for emergencies and to take when travelling. I am optimistic that it will work, space is great being so compact. Not sure how much juice it has though.

I have a portable lead acid charger that I use. I've had it for several years and I'm not completely sure it's still good. I would recommend going with lith-ion if possible. Lith-ion batteries last a lot longer(lower self-discharge rate 2% versus 10% for lead acid). Lith-ion jump starters are a lot more compact and lightweight over lead acid as well. Also, the jump starters these days have all kinds of built-in safety features like lights and an alarm that goes off if you accidentally hook up the wrong battery terminal configuration. DBPower or Weego on Amazon are pretty good.
