Ford said that there are a specific number of Pony Emblems on the car :p maybe it's just one of these :p (I searched the specific number of emblems but could not find it)

50 would be an appropriate number.

I have to check it. I already had plenty of snow / ice / freeze on my hood, not a single sign of pony yet :(

Open up the isolation, and look after the pony :)

Because Dennis_ should wrap my stripes also under the hood if there is a emblem
Sure... that would be a first.
Stripes wrapped underneath the bonnet :)

Why? Because we can! Hahaha.

After a month of empirical testing I can now say with a degree of certainty, after testing in multiple iterations of frozen rain, frost, rime ice, snow and ice bark conditions, that no pony appears on the hood as the engine warms up. The area above the engine definitely heats up first, but it's more of a nondescript 'blobular' area, sometimes two separate blobs which coalesce as the temperature increases. No pony.

I thought I saw it on my drive home but after looking at the pic above Gryphon I guess what I saw was the outline of a 'blob' :) (hard to see when you are cruising at 110kmh)

yep - definitely only had a blob, no distinct outline of the oval or the pony :( shame - that would have been cool if it worked (even if only briefly!)
