Polished the stock muffler tips...

I was inspired by stangmode on YouTube... I did something today, a simple rag with mothers polish works damn good. .... These tips didn't look good at all from day one.

Yep, I've done that for 2 decades and it works incredible on stainless tips.

Definitely the stuff you want to use. I didn't think they would shine this well, but they came out good, I like them.

The tips on the '18 are embarrassing. Single wall with a little chrome or something on them and I haven't been able to make them look decent.

its the Mothers polish...its the best, try the mothers... the stuff in my photo works like no other..Mine were flat and dull, I didn't think they would come out this good at all....

You can get the 18s to look like Chrome, 2000 grit sandpaper if you really wanted to look good or use one of those polishing power balls in a drill, just go try the mothers first... There's a kid on YouTube who removed his entire stainless exhaust on his 15 and up, used 2000 grit sandpaper on a DA sander and then polished it out with the wheel... His entire exhaust looks like chrome.

I would have polished the inside of the tips as well to complete the transformation.

What completes the transformation is the mufflers, the mufflers polish up nicely.... 10 minutes with a dish scrubby and mothers.... Before and after... Not bad.
