Get the no tune required and no need to ever swap it out. Both will make the same power once tuned if same tune is used.
This is correct if you want to run the PMAS with the factory calibration. If you get a tune later on down the road, your tuner is to build the tune based on you using the stock air box.

Which makes it easier for the tuner as well no MAF tuning required.

But either way, going with the no-tune required PMAS vs. the tune required PMAS, I wouldn't see any differences in power if I eventually went with a Lund or similar tune? Why wouldn't everyone go with the no-tune required PMAS if the power is the same?

It's $100 more, so if you're getting a custom tune from the start, the tune required is the more cost effective route.

I've been trying to read up on this intake recently and I've seen that there were some quality control issues that people were coming across during installation. Have those been taken care of or have folks still been seeing those with recent purchases?

Hoping to take advantage of Lethal's Lund + PMAS sale tomorrow.
