Owning a C7 Grand Sport myself I'd say go for it! I'm ending up with both but there was no ADM to talk them down on for the GS. Did pay MSRP but that's because it was a very early custom order and the first one to hit the lot here. Either way you'll be happy. The GS was a hair under $85k MSRP but it's also a 3LT with everything aside from the Z06 package including everything CF I could get. Hell order one you'll get what you want and have WAY more choices compared to ordering a GT350. And it came in exactly 8 weeks from the order date...

^Beautiful in black! Your SB 350 will also pair well with that GS.

Oh I need to correct myself... I actually was on my 4th C7, d'uh me! :headbonk:

GM bought back my gray Z06 in April and gave me a brand new '16 Black one... ARS1's pics reminded me of that. :D

Although I quickly traded-it in when my GT4 order finally arrived last May. Heck I'd do it again especially if for a GT350-R. :ninja:

I've been looking for a GT350 at MSRP for well over a year now, with no luck. I have a '17 RR w/Conv Pack on order, but it comes with a small ADM (which rubs me raw, considering how many cars I've bought from this dealership), and won't be here until Jan-Feb timeframe.

Right now I am out in my garage putting the finishing touches on a clean/detail for my '15 GT in prep for trading it in on a '16 Z51 2LT Corvette later today. Instead of paying an ADM they're knocking over 10% off the price of the car.

Yeah, I know. I've never owned a GM car in my life and I love Mustangs, but I'm tired of waiting and getting ripped off. I'll get ~ the same level of performance out of the Vette as the 350, and it's a beautiful car. What's not to like.

OK, if you care to have at it. Why should I not do this? I appreciate any constructive comments/arguments.
IMO if you can afford to buy a c7 grand sport, that's what I would get, but if not I would definitely choose the 350 over a z51 if the adm is under 5k. I needed 4 seats which is why I bought the 350 instead of waiting for the Grand Sport. A grand sport with z07 package, full CF aero, performance data recorder, and bucket seats is close to 80k msrp (75k after discount). Other than the grand sport, there is.no other car I would choose over the 350 in the 55k-80k range

I'd wait for the GT350 over a regular C7.

Throw a C7 Grand Sport into that mix and that decision becomes much more difficult.

I like to disassemble things.
Word.

In Salt Lake right now. Did the Track Attack yesterday with George from MGW. I had no idea the stock Michelins were that good. Or the brakes. Or the quirky engine. In a word............wow.

Get one. And do the Track Attack.

I vote you wait for the gt350. It just seems more special than the corvette, and it sounds so good! I have an order for a 2017 R, and I'm already approaching 5 months since ordering, but to me it will be worth it.

Hey everyone, I appreciate the feedback.

Ended up passing on the Corvette. I was iffy on it already, as evidenced by this thread, and when the dealership lowballed me on the GT trade-in I walked. Decision made.

On the plus side, I stopped by the Ford dealership and found out that my GT350 has been scheduled. No VIN yet though. Sales manager thinks I'll have the car by the end of the year.

Thanks everyone!

Doesn't have to be a special edition, limited edition, super rare car for an owner to desire to get the fair market value for his trade in... "Low ball" means significantly under fair market value. If you had a Honda Civic worth 8K and the dealer offered you 5K, would you be ok with that because its a "run of the mill car"? The opinions of some people on here, geez.

Thank you for your wisdom. It's very easy to put a trade in value on a run of the mill car. That's my f point . I'd never take the first offer on a trade. It's a game they play. Plus why trade in a 15 run of the mill car because you will take a big HIT. I have a feeling there's a lot of people on here that should not be trading every year for a new car. It's a generation that has to have it now. Not good and a sure way to the poor house. I'm just an old dude for sure.
