A dB warning out there in what looks like the middle of nowhere???

What class does it run in?

Norm
It's actually at an airport (which is more ironic) and Im in GTA-S.

Local Auto-X on 09/09/17. I got the decibel meter warning and was told to bring it down.
Limit was 95 and I was doing 101DB so I went home with one of the loudest car awards
Looks good! 101 dB, huh? What exhaust are you running?

Wow... I didn't know the MBRP street was that loud. Congrats! :first:
lol, it can be especially under WOT.

I got a warning at Sonoma Raceway but it was more of a "its kinda loud on the straight" This recent one was more like "If you don't do anything about it you'll be DQ'ed".

After I installed the Performance Pack II I noticed a considerable difference in pitch/tone/volume. I'm thinking that was the difference between the Sonoma experience
and last weekend. Funny though because I never got any comments at Thunder Hill.

Even got a warning at Sonoma? I guess they want everyone to run Electric :(

Not many, if any, homes surround Sonoma. Sure, wine country but there are bikes running through the valley there wine tasting that are putting out more sound...

Yeah its frustrating. It's all about the politics out here. There's a noise pollution ordinance in most counties where they can only
run unrestricted noise levels for x amount of days per year. So the tracks will pick out events such as NHRA, NASCAR, INDY for
those unrestricted events. All other days have to adhere to the 95 db limit. I've been told that Laguna Seca has it the worst
because people bitch more out there and they have more money (more lawyers).

The same thing is happening at the airport where we run. The neighbors care less about the 1200 HP P-51 Mustang or the countless
Sheriff or Coast Guard Helo's coming and going but you get some dude in a green mustang and everyone loses their $hit. :frusty:

To the comments above about sound levels... If they're actually measuring you at 100+ dBA it's pretty unsafe for the hearing of all the course workers. Obviously that's in addition to the idiot neighbors complaining about the sound levels of an active runway... Also, I have a hard time believing that the MBRP Street exhaust is that loud.

Anyway, some pics.

↑↑↑ Is that the Warminster lot, trying harder than ever to become a lawn?

Agreed on the noise level issue for course workers. There were times and cars that were way too loud even if you were working inside the truck . . . there have even been a few cars at HPDE that were uncomfortably loud despite you having a full-face helmet on.

It is indeed Warminster. They used to spray to kill the grass I guess, the last two years or so it's been really crazy how much grass has been coming out of the cracks.

Good question, haha
