i would say the car has a normal initial bit now but got no complaints other than they squeal because they are still new. when you are turning really slow after braking with no brake lol. factory ones did the same thing after i bought the car. the pads just don't come off the rotors quick enough with the brembos. the squealing has started to reduce now after them being on for a month but i reckon i should go bed them in good too.

Check out Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner. Expensive, but seems to be the best wheel cleaner on the market.

Or, change your pads as everyone else mentioned above.

I wash my car once, if not twice a week and there are always days where my wheels are brown. I'm just used to it. Once it's a garage queen I won't worry about it. But a good wax on the wheels help tremendously.

I have 15K on my car with some notable brake abuse in mountain runs and I just looked at my pads and they look brand new, miles away form the little screacher thing. I'd buy ceramic but...

What AgentS550 said. Wax the wheels. It will help the brown film come off easier, and also help slightly the dust from sticking via static electricity.

Does anyone have the nickel wheel finish option and have you noticed thin paint or paint coming off at all?

The corners in my wheels have black speckles where the paint is gone. 15,000 miles on the car. I suppose it could just be a bad paint job, but I didn't really notice it before.

It's also front and rear, and the rear doesn't get as dusty, but the front is worse in terms of the speckles.

Yeah, I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I paid extra for that color, I want it to stay on the wheels.

I bought some poorboys wheel sealant to put on mine to help. I'll report back after I get it on if it's really helpful or not.
