My search dosnt work and on my phone so sorry in advance. I just won an airaid cai and bama tunner for my car. I already have borla catback installed. Now the exhaust I'm almost sure that it will not void warantee because they would have to prove it was the issue. Now my question is will the cai and bama tune void my warantee without a doubt or have some of you been able to use warantee even though moded to that extent?

I don't have any warranty experience, but I would would try to go 10,000 miles before loading a tune. Any factory defects in the engine should show themselves by then.

Ok i think ill do that. Has about 3500 miles on it not. Maybe ill just put cai on since i can swap that no problem back to stock. Will the car run fine without bama tune and catback with cai installed?

I would just run the stock air box for now. If you want more power, then just run more RPM, hitting the rev limiter if necessary.

CAI shouldn't cause a warranty issue, but any gains you get by that will be marginal compared to just running more RPM. You can hang onto it, or attempt to resell it back on ebay. That's just me though. CAI are very popular.

as for superchargers ...

Well if cai, bama tune, and catback puts me over 400rwhp and possibly better mpg i would be a happy camper till I can afford whipple set up.

lets say bama & cai get you 10% gains. Are you going to use that ? If you are currently shifting at 4000 RPM, you could get more power just by shifting at 4500 RPM.

You might still load the tune for fun, but I would just get some more miles on the engine, make sure its solid.

Thanks will do. And well i havent been babying it really. I have brought it above 4500 rpms many times. I read multiple places here of people bringing the motor passed 4500. I also read motors are for the most park broken in before selling to us? For the most part drive it normal but ive let it rip through all the gears a few times already
