thats the way to go!
edit! I'm figuring out what I'm doing now because of the news of the 2018 mustang and it's higher compression and DI/Port system. I've only got $5k under the hood right in labor/parts and it may work out better to cut my losses now and go with a boosted 18+ which should make the power easier to achieve on lower boost and octane.

Thought about the above post for a while and I agree.....

Rule number 1 in modding vehicles is thy shall NEVER pay full price!

So with that being said I hope everyone follows those steps that means more vehicle demods and more parts forsale cheap for people like me!

I cant wait to pick up 2015-2017 go fast goodies on the cheap! Pfft those are old no one wants those anymore :D

haha yup yup. I'm very close with my dealer and when I mean close, Im there twice a week usually, I even get commission from selling cars in my spare time. For all my vehicles I pay invoice, take almost all the holdback and ofcourse ford rebates. I paid $27k for my 2016 GT which msrp'd @$36~k It was also a hail unit, but only $1,000 of that was hail cash and it's 100% oem looking (i've got a hawk eye) Most mustangs have $1,200 in holdback and invoice is usually about $2000 less but it depends on options which also have invoices of their own. Ford also had $5k on 16's for a limited time in rebates.
