Make sure you grab your IC pipes and jerk them around, if they contact anything you need to insulate it.

Yea I had to bend a few pieces to keep them from contacting, and mess with the intercooler a little to get it all to fit right. I'm going to get some insulation for a few spots just to be on the safe side. It's definitely a tight fit

we spray paint the upper black as well on mine, looks better
My girlfriend was saying that she thinks I should spray paint the upper black on the inside, so I'm probably going to do that

I highly recommend t-bolt clamps instead of the supplied pipe clamps. I blew a clamp off my MAF housing pipe doing a WOT datalog. Switched to the better t-bolt clamps and have not once blew a clamp off

I use T-bolt except at the blower inlet. Constant velocity t-bolt.

I would wait until you have all of the kit clamps in hand, then order the T-bolt clamps from McMaster Carr once the sizes are known.

I ordered mine from JPC. But they are 11-14 model specific for the Vortech/Paxton kits. So I had to purchase additional larger sized clamps since the kit didn't come with the size I needed.

the tune is done. Jon said everything looks great on the log. I'm going to try and get it dyno'd next week. It'll be on the same dyno Obselete used for his KB build, so that should be a cool comparison. I'm hoping to be in the 650+ hp range. here's my 2500-7200 WOT pull. I will say the best mod of this entire build of mine is the Mickey Thompson ET Street II drag radials. Hooked up the whole time! gotta thank beefcake for all the help during this build, he definitely made things a little easier for me with some of the small questions I had.

Sounds good but that BOV sound isn't good. That's compressor surge and your intake hitting the hood. You can zip tie the intake and upgrade to the tial to help alleviate it.

The intake definitely isn't hitting the hood because I messed with the entire setup, angled the JLT and used some molding clay to make sure everything cleared the hood, which it does. I'll look into the tial to fix that fluttering
