Based on your description, it definitely sounds like your socket shorted as the bulb was being installed, when it "hit" something.They are the new ones... and heres what happened... I installed the driver's side no problems... When I locked my car, I noticed my running lamp and taillamp were working fine.
You actually get four bulbs from DD, Angelo. And yes, it does seem pricey. But I've been happy with the quality of other DD bulbs I've bought, and I've seen other members touting DD's customer service when there is an issue. :cheers:wow i never really looked into the DD switchbacks because it's not my thing, but damn i had no idea that's how much it costs for 2 LED bulbs...
