I wonder if they could make the display do other stuff, rather than the cheese-fest of gauge duplication.

Maybe plug passenger's phones into it to duplicate the phone display? Play music/videos/WAZE/etc? That could actually be useful and interesting. Pull up the weather channel to see what's ahead?

I knew you were going to ask that . I believe its under apps. I have to look at the car to remember for sure.

EDIT: Yup, go into apps, Sirius XM Travel Links. You get this at no charge so you do not have to subscribe to Sirius XM to get it.

I haven't seen that anywhere in any of the screens, but I don't have NAV. I think that comes with NAV.

And what I mean, is to have a satellite/radar display of the local weather on the SYNC display. Is that what you and everyone else is talking about? Does a NAV equipped car have that?

ETA; I checked....no weather on my car.

So that would be something cool for such a screen to do. Mirror a cell display, and be able to use and display a phone for the passenger. And charge it at the same time. Have the audio go through the car's sound system.

Kids could watch movies, wimins could watch romantic comedies.......
