My passenger seat's knob on the back of passenger seat to adjust for people to get into the back seats stopped working and I have to use the one on the side of the passenger seat now. Anyone else running into this issue?
Can this be fixed through warranty or it isnt covered?

If your car is still under warranty, then yes, it is covered. Says you have a 16, so you should definitely still be covered. Contact your dealer.

I have this same problem. It seems like it works sometimes but then if you use the lever then go to use the lever on back of the seat it does not work no matter how hard you try. Did you ever get this fixed? I am considering taking mine in for this because its pretty annoying to not be able to lean the passenger seat from the drivers seat at times.

The lever on mine is stubborn too. But I usually can get it to work if I push the seat back towards the rear as I push up on the lever. I still think that flimsy latch is going to break one day.

I have found that it is an issue when someone pulls up to hard or to far on the handle.
It seems to work best if you just lift up on it and not yank up on it.
It took along time for me to train the wife on how to use it but that was the solution, hasn’t been an issue since.

This happens all the time on my car. When lifting the seat release lever on the back of the seat the seat will not return to the original position. I notice the other lever at the bottom of the seat near the door does not fully return to the closed position.

THERE IS AN EASY WORK AROUND! Simply press forward on the back of the seat, pushing the seat back toward the front of the car until the lever snaps back into place. Then you're back to normal.
