This is an intro and mod thread in one. Haven't had much time to write/post between work and reading all the informative posts on the forum. I have a 2015 GT auto (adaptive cruise is awesome) purchased in Dallas from Ford corporate fleet at auction. I'm a mech engr and appreciate well thought out car designs. I've had a few fast cars but this is my first Mustang, and I LOVE this car. Ie, I started with 911s/cayman s and "found" my way to the Mustang.

After a solid month of reading up on the forum and (over) thinking about what I want out of this car next, I pulled the trigger today on a mod set list that should be well received.

GT350 IM
GT350 87mm tb
ARH 1 7/8" catted long system h-pipe (keeping stock mufflers for the moment)
FRP 47lb injectors
Lund E85 flex tune
FRP track shocks
Steeda Stage 1 handling package, lite linear springs and sway bars
AirRaid Intake

All of this is going to be installed at one time and only a but dyno to follow. My installer is in Ft Worth. If there is a dyno shop that wants to donate time for the cause I will make arrangements for a baseline and post mod pull. Otherwise just know it's gonna be way faster!

Appreciate any feedback or thoughts. Building these cars out sure is a lot of fun.

That is a very impressive list to start with

You may need some suspension parts to address the wheel hop in the car, I'm not sure if you switched out your tires or wheels for some lighter and stickier, but that'll make a big difference as well.

Maybe the OP should start a prediction thread. "How Much RWHP do you think this Build will Generate?" I'd guess 490. Thats if he actually runs E85 for the Dyno run. Anyway that's my SWAG.

He's only doing a butt dyno, but even that should be impressive in itself

The Mustang GT is a "cheap" performance car. There's a bunch of people used to paying a lot more for cars buying the mustang and have money left over purely to mod. :headbang:

I'm planning to burn the rubber I have, same for the brakes. I haven't found the exact solution for wheel hop and would appreciate feedback on tires/wheels.

Need4SpeedMotors has threads on wheels/tires/spacing. I haven't had the time to dig in to this piece of the build yet.

I am sorry for the NOT SO DISCRETE question but you will understand why. Do you mind telling us how much you pay at the auction ( i imagine you went to manheim) and what was the mileage? The reason to ask is because of of my friends is a small dealer and have offer many times to go with him to buy...but somewhat I am quite afraid....but if the mileage is low, probably is a good option, since still under warranty. Last, how much is your list of mods are gonna cost you before labor? Thanks...and you dont have to answer of course.
