Going FI soon. I know it’s riskier than NA and I’m going to mitigate by installing opg/cs, catch can, but mostly by being careful how I drive and not hammer on it constantly and not until warm, etc. But my biggest worry is that sooner or later someone at a repair shop will take it for a “test drive” and undo a lot of my good intentions. Am I being overly paranoid or do folks with FI who don’t do all the wrenching themselves have special precautions? I’m going to pick the shops with care but there’s only so much you can do. OBD tracker? Cameras? Trust your luck?
