I decided to go silver because I didn't want to draw any attention to the not so great looking rear calipers. Was hoping for a close match to the silver finish on the rears (to avoid painting them and keep a stock look).

The G2 came out more of a grey colour than a bright silver but I am happy with the results. It added some depth and gloss to the fronts. I applied 3 coats of G2 and 3 light coats of hi-temp clear to protect the decals.

Initially, I wasn't going to add decals but the large calipers looked like they needed something to add some detail. I had some decals left over from when I re-did the Brembos on my Jeep so I used them. Looks way better with the decals imo. I know some guys have an issue doing this because they aren't Brembo calipers, but I can live with it :)

*The spot on the first pic is just the camera.

Nice job bud, I like the colour :headbang:

I'll be doing mine this spring, going with black, but still on the fence whether or not I'll be applying decals.

I had black calipers with white lettering on my SRT. Looked sharp.

I used VHT clear. Very light coats.

*I ordered the paint from the G2 site to a post office box across the border....

**Keeping in mind that I only did the fronts, probably about an hour to clean and mask, then about 15 minutes to paint each caliper (x3 coats). The clear only takes a few seconds per coat; overall, the applications don't take a ton of time, it's waiting for drying/curing....

Did you remove the calipers to paint them? Did the side of the caliper towards the middle of the car get painted?

Infinitely better looking than stock, nice job. Continental has a solid logo and is a reputable company, I might slap their labels on mine when I get this done hopefully next week. The stock finish is horrific.

No. Painted with calipers on the car. I did not paint the back side of the calipers, just went to the upper edge of the backside. The back side cannot be seen from any angle.
