Paint Rear diffuser?

I am considering painting my rear diffuser, color match to factory ingot silver.

Looking for input on whether I can DIY this or whether I am better off paying to have it done.

Any experiences/methods or pics? I am open to wrap, paint, etc. Interested in how it holds up to exhaust heat or gasses.

Heat shouldn't be a problem. Paint if you want an exact match. All down low, so "amateur" flaws won't be noticed.
