So I've got the MMD Rear window louver (big one) from American muscle, installed on my black 2016 EB Pony Pack. I really like the look of them with my black car but have trying to figure out how to give my car a bit more visual character on the cheap until I get more of the pricey mods finished. I was browsing and saw a plastidip thread and it reminded me it has magical non-permanent powers. So I have started playing with the idea of plastidipping these orange to create a nice accent piece for my car.

Has anyone tried painting or plastidipping these louvers? When I first got them I noticed they were either dusty from storage or the paint was really bad because just picking them up I got a little bit of black stuff on my hands. I'm worried if it's the latter, that when I go to peel the plastidip off when I'm tired of it that it will take the paint with it. Any comment or help is greatly appreciated.

I'm also open to other ideas. My initial reaction when buying the car was to murder it out but I think that will look silly with the chrome trim, plus I love the grille. I'm still trying to figure out what my over all end design will be but mostly thinking just wing, suspension, and rims are the three big exterior visual mods I think I have planned.
