paddle shifters

has anyone had there paddle shifters de-activated,or would know how to.i would like to,don't use them and have hit the downshift one too many times by accident, sorry if this sounds lame but i like to just mash the gas and rip it, thanks

If your shifter is not in S mode, it will go back to normal mode in a couple of seconds.

Not positive on this but I would think that you could just disconnect them from inside the steering wheel? I'm not sure what, if anything, it will do with the transmission.

Just remove them. You can look up some videos on replacing the steering wheel with a gt350 one. One video in particular shows how to remove them.

This is what I was referring to. When I did my GT350R wheel swap I had to carry them over. I would assume if you don't want them you would just not put them back on the new steering wheel.
