I have a 2020 mustang GT and I am getting a P2096 code (Post cat fuel trim system too lean bank 1). I am wanting to replace the O2 but I don’t know which O2s too replace.

Any work been done recently? Engine replaced recently? Im pretty sure Bank 1 is the passenger's side. It says post cat so either the cat is bad, the rear o2 is bad, or there is a leak.

When you are looking at the car the rear o2 is the o2 furthest away from the engine after the catalytic converter (or in the catalytic converter I don't remember).

I would get under the car and look for any leaks. You can see a leak by looking for black liquid stains running from connections. If the 18+ exhaust setup is like the 15-17 I think you will see a connection right after the upper o2 before the catalytic convert. If it was leaking there that would make sense for the code.

Is the car stock? What milage?
If it's stock I think emissions components are warranted to like 85k miles by federal law.
