Anyone had or have heard of anyone else having A/C issues? I noticed my A/C wasn't blowing cold air this morning, but didn't have a check engine light. I have an NGauge so I ran a diagnostic check and it came back with that code. Tried searching for that code on the forum and couldn't find anything. The code is for low current, which prevents the AC compressor clutch from engaging.

Does anyone know what the part number for the sensor is or where it is located? I've never messed with an AC before, but guessing its the sensor that failed as that seems to be the most common failure listed from anything I read elsewhere on past mustang models. I don't want to take it to a dealership here and wait a week or have them trying to deny any coverage trying to blame failure on a tune like they love to do. If I replace the sensor and it doesn't work then I'll take it in.

Yes I just had mine fixed as did another Shelby in my service department

I'm out of town but when I get home I can send you all the info. Or I'll try to check my oasis and let you know sooner.

So, for anyone that has their A/C go out, that part is about $45 from Ford. Went to the local dealership and got one, and it comes off easy with a 14mm wrench. Changed out the little valve and A/C works again now.

Thanks again for the part number Swedensky. Wouldn't have been able to fix it so quickly without that.

Just out of courisioty, why wouldn't you let Ford fix it under warranty? M

Because they wanted me to bring it in and hold onto it for 6 days before they could even start looking at it. I'd rather spend $45 and not have them holding onto my car for a week or more

Reviving this thread so I can get the part number. The pictures don't load anymore.
