Apologies if it's already been debated, but has anyone managed to get their hands on an electronic version of the GT350 owners manual?

Interesting. There have been those that argued on previous threads that it would be OK to use 87 octane gas in this car and the engine would self adjust so to speak for it but the manual clearly states to avoid anything less than 91 or risk engine damage. So it does not appear to be just a performance issue.
Also, can you imagine anyone actually following the recommended shift speeds under the transmission section?

91 octane is "Premium" at high altitudes, like Colorado. I don't think I've seen any gas above that octane here. At high altitude, air pressure is lower, effectively lowering compression ratio, hence the lower octane gas works acceptably in a NA engine. I would follow the manual's recommendation.

As far as shift speeds, I have been short shifting my MIMI Cooper S when I don't need the acceleration and have beat the EPA ratings on almost every tank of gas. I think the same is possible with the GT 350, although it will take much more discipline with that intoxicating exhaust note!

What about fuel additives that raise the octane level? Would those work or are they just snake oil?

Hmmm...so it seems 87 octane won't be able to be used after all?

I read the Shelby manual supplement a bit ago and I believe it specifically requires 91 minimum octane and no fuel or oil additives. Also, special oil at 10 qts. every 5k miles
