Hello, I have a 2015 Mustang GT Non PP. Today after a short drive my car gave me an overheating warning and I immediately shut it off. I let it cool off and drove it about 10 minutes to get home while blasting the heater and the coolant temp was normal but head temps were a bit hot. I also noticed my AC was not cold when idling before that happened. I did not drive it hard and haven’t for some days. Anyone know what it can be? The coolant level is still at max so it is not leaking. My idea is the thermostat but I’m not sure, thanks.

Most likely issue is a stuck closed thermostat or something up with the water pump. What's a "bit hot" for the CHT you saw?
It was at about 250 right when I shut it off but went down to about 235-240 driving home
