Hi All,. The outside air temp display on my Bullitt is slow to respond to the change in the outside air temp, maybe 1/2 hour or even more before it responds. It may start out accurate in the morning but as the day warms up, the sensor dose not change but then suddenly after a long time it catches up. Ford dealer already changed a sensor once but now they tell me its normal for Fords, not just the mustang. Anybody else have this issue.

Thanks

There's a lot of thermal mass surrounding the sensor in any car, so it takes some time to come to actual ambient (although 30 minutes does seem long).

This is not normal. I keep my car in a heated garage. When I pull out it shows the temp in garage which is about 65*. Within 30 seconds the readout will drop to about 40*. In less than 3 minutes it will show the ambient temp whether it be 35 or 18. Something is not right
