2016 Mustang GT Premium model question: Can you get outside air at ambient temperature through the dash A/C vents? This is a nice time of year to get un-air conditioned air to blow through the vents instead of having to turn on the A/C system. Is this possible?

Yes you can.

1. Switch off auto climate control.
2. switch on ac.
3. Switch ac button off( button which says ac) and increase fan speed.
4. keep outside air intake on( you can do so much by keeping the internal air circulation button off)

Just turn on fan and turn off recirculation.

Still in AC for a few minutes regardless. The system will atrophy if the coolant isn't circulated for long periods of time

I just turn off the AC and roll the windows down. Once a week or so i turn on the AC to circulate the refrigerant and let everything run so the compressor doesn't lock up or lose refrigerant.

it doesn't just freely flow through the vents with fan off and everything off completely like in other cars. gotta at least put the fan on to get it to pull through. or put windows down.

so you never go outside or do you live in a bubble? lol
I go outside only when there is no vehicular traffic like a park or a mall, or work unless I am riding my Ducati but that's mostly on highways with almost no traffic.
Don't like dusty interior.

I'll have to try what berserker sid said. Not a huge fan of these auto climate control systems that keep going back and forth from cooling to heating the air because the inside temp changed one degree.

+1. Some good crisp fresh air is good for you on a drive.
