I decided to put Traci Lords into storage.
Given where we are in the year, it's a great option. Now with the car stowed or about to be, you can spend the Winter putting around any of the options discussed.

When car shows start again in the Spring, others there might offer even more storage ideas or tips.

Seems like that’s the only “great” option is just paying money for the storage. Luckily….knock on wood….the area I live in doesn’t get too much snow or hail storms. Hail is rare and we get a max of 4-7 snow/ice days starting in January to early march. I think I’ll look into storing Mach once January hits.

I take it you’re in southern IL?

This no cover advice depends on how much movement your cover has in the wind. I took care of it by sewing on some extra straps which run from the front behind each front wheel to their respective sides and like wise for the rear and rear wheels to the side and one through the centre.

This literally makes the cover as tight as it can get with no movement. No movement = no scratches. I have the OEM car cover from ford.

Mine is white so maybe it's very difficult to notice any scratches that were there but I honestly didn't see any rash areas and I tend to notice almost everything.

Dont leave it parked on bare concrete. The cold will ruin the tyres. Put an insulating layer between each tyre and concrete. If you can, put a trickle charger on.

You could also put some dehumidifying pads in the cabin.

I've had something similar to this for 5 or 6 years. Works rather well. I use it year round.
Im probably going to do that next year. I'd like to keep it out of the elements & I would like it at home for the winter.
